Fear

I recently discovered a band that just blew me away. I couldn't believe I hadn't known about them before. They are called "Porcupine Tree" -- and to me they (mainly the head guy, Steven Wilson) are pure musical genius.

I was just drawing in my sketchbook while listening to their album "Fear of a Blank Planet" and couldn't help but be inspired by their music... and this just came out.

This piece is essentially my interpretation of the album "Fear of a Blank Planet" and the central concept behind the entire album.

I did this with pencil, charcoal, chalk, and ink. I then added some color to the scanned file using Photoshop.
