That song is very appropriate! It's actually a really good track too!

It looks like a typical council estate image, except for the guns - we rarely see guns here as they are completely illegal and and I presume, hard to get hold of. The police don't carry guns either of course.

Knives are all the rage at the moment, and drugs. Lot's of underage mums out there too.

The rioting looks like it's fizzling out. There was rioting in my city centre last night but nothing compared with London. The government upped the number of police today from the standard 3000 in London, to 16,000! Seems that it has had a big effect so far. However, different parts of the country have been hit instead, and it continues now.

Nothing has happened here in Bristol today, but it's only 11pm and the whole night still ahead. To be honest, it looks a lot less likely of there being any trouble now. Let's hope something is learned.

The public are furious of course. The 'lack of police' was the first complaint, then the overwhelming news of just how young the culprits were, many aged as young as 8 or 10 years old. The police said that anyone old enough to commit a crime is old enough to be dealt with and punished, even if the really young kids have to be registered as a risk to the population for the rest of their lives (ouch!).

I bet the insurance companies can't wait to pick up the bill for all the damage!
